HapiRide operates within participating university campuses across Malaysia. Look for our designated parking zones at hostels, faculties, libraries, cafeterias, and other key locations on campus.
Download the HapiRide app from the App Store or Google Play, create an account, add a payment method, then scan the QR code on the e-bike handlebar to unlock it. You can also tap the bike icon in the app and enter the bike number manually.
Our pricing is simple: RM0.20 per minute with a minimum charge of RM1.00 per ride. For example, a 10-minute ride costs RM2.00. There's no unlock fee or subscription required - you only pay for what you ride.
Park your e-bike at any designated HapiRide parking zone on campus. Make sure the bike is upright and the kickstand is down. Then tap "End Ride" in the app to complete your trip. Always ensure the bike is locked before walking away.
If you encounter any problems with the e-bike, tap "Report Issue" in the app immediately. Our support team is available Monday to Friday, 9am to 6pm at +6011-6500 3131. Do not attempt to repair the bike yourself.
No, HapiRide e-bikes are only permitted within the designated campus boundaries. Riding outside campus may result in additional fees and suspension of your account. Always check the app for permitted zones.
Improper parking may result in a penalty fee of up to RM10. To avoid charges, always park at designated HapiRide zones marked with our signage. This helps keep campus organized and ensures bikes are available for other riders.
Open the HapiRide app, go to "Wallet" section, and add funds using credit/debit card or online banking. We recommend adding at least RM20 to start. Your wallet balance is used automatically for each ride.
Yes! A helmet is provided with each e-bike. After your payment is processed, the bike including the helmet is automatically unlocked. Simply grab the helmet from the holder, secure it properly, and you're ready to ride. Always wear a helmet while riding for your safety.
